Wessie was on about doing something on Easter Saturday before we went off
flouncing. Anytime over Easter (Apart form Sunday) would suit me .

I'm working Good Friday and Saturday, but off Sunday and Monday.

Easter Monday sounds like a plan to me.

I'd better get my act together and order a new nearside mirror. I'd need
it for the MOT anyway, I think.

I dropped mine off the car transporter when we moved house last year.
Managed to bodge it with chemical metal, but it seems to be totally
    beyond sorting now.

Still, they're only 20 quid for a pattern part.

Easter Monday: I'm off to Portsmouth to pick up the sprog before departing
    LGW for Salou

Easter Saturday: a mate has organised a weekend of gay bikers staying in a
bunkhouse near Brecon. I'm not staying in the bunkhouse as it's only a few
miles from my place. I am leading a ride which will circumnavigate
Plynlimon using some of the best B roads in Mid Wales. The complete circuit
is about 160 miles but I'll make it shorter if the weather is shit. Email
me at wessie at tesco dot net if you want to join me & don't mind the
company of a couple of poofs/lesbians.

Easter Sunday: nothing in the diary so far

Working the Saturday - one of the busiest days of the year, so odds of
taking that off are slightly less than **** all.

Sunday - my only day off with Katie for the next month, so that's out.

    Maybe next month sometime, then.

Ooh, I'm supposed to be getting sufficiently organised to meet you
    somewhere for chainsaw-related fun, aren't I?

    <sigh>

I'm crap. I'll do my best.

Saves me a reminder email. I'm fairly flexible with the time for an en
route rendezvous on Easter Monday. Anytime between midday to 4pm for
Newbury. If you want to collect it from the Gatwick hotel then try to get
someone there for around 6pm as by 7pm we will have gone in search of food.

My hasn't the world changed (for the better of course). Can you
imagine a post like this even 20 years ago?

There wouldn't have been any point going to Breconshire over Easter. You
wouldn't find anything open on the Sunday 20 years ago, even the pubs.

They've taken to capitalism in a big way in the last couple of decades.
They'll take anyone's money, even jazz fans.
