    Booked in for Thursday next week. It only gets upset when I try and
    stick more than a hundred ponies through it, so it'll cope with a
    journey to Derbyshire and back.

    I don't suppose you are into maintenance but if you lean the bike right over
    and whip the clutch cover off and plates out, clean off the oil then boil
    the fibre plates in bleach for a few minutes they will usually grip again.

    The timing's perfect really - MOT is due in two weeks, 12k service will
    be due at the same time, so the clutch work is just being added to the
    job sheet.
