Do we have to take a later ferry, considering the tonnage of your
    behemoth ? ;)

Cheeky fucker - it's listed as a mere 417kg unladen on this here V5c.

That's only 919.5 pounds in old money.

With me and 'er, and luggage, it'll be well under three-quarters of a
    ton.

Vass and Anne and the Wellers and us Irvines did the coastal bit from
Dieppe when TogTours went there. Did the tour of the Benedictine
distillery in Fecamp and had a nice lunch in Etretat, which Monet
    painted (Etretat, not our lunch).

I'm puzzled by SD's choice of starting and finishing in Duclair ...

    Erm.

It's the other one, is it?

    Oops.

I'll do what I usually do: appear after breakfast, nine times over the
limit. Mainline coffee til the shakes have countered the fuzziness and
my eyesight has balanced up, and then see who's going for a ride.

    If I avoid crashing off a ravine, job's a good'un.
****'s sake, is this a one-day trip or some kind of round-the-world
    challenge?

I thought Duclair was just down the road at any rate. I've not looked at a map,
    mind.

No more than 10 miles, tops.

There's a really good cheap restaurant in Neufchatel-en-Bray, just
about on the bridge over the lower road. Stopped there a couple of
    times.

Sounds like a very pleasant day out. I shall endeavour to shake off the
hangover in time to join you, if I may.

Ditto, but the last bit of the route makes 'not much sense' on
Autoroute(1). Do I care? not a fucking lot.

    (1) I might look at in Mapsource if ICBA but the Zumo will know where I
want it to go should a tuit not turn up.

It made a *bit* more sense when the start and finish were in Duclair.

It looks slightly more worthwhile on a Michelin map, imo.

Heh. That coast road is lovely, but in fine weather there are a lot of
cars cluttring it up and in wet and windy weather it sucketh mightily.
