A jam sandwich without the butter is like... well a motorbike without an
engine. Some things simply can't be left out.

well, maybe, but if I was down that way, I'd far prefer to shop in
    Fortnum's.

I'm quite partial to a bit of beetroot with some cream cheese on a
    cracker.

There's **** all wrong with beetroot. Not that it's always an improvement.

You'd fucking love the docks in Goteborg Steve. They have a raft (ha!) of
sea food shops and cafe's and most have their own speciality. Smoked,
unsmoked, pre-cooked, raw, you name it. A great way to spend a lunchtime
although a bit of a trek from over here :)

    Sounds nice.

I'm quite partial to warm, baby beet. Served as a main meal veg without any
    of that nasty vinegar.

    Except you need a breadmaker.

    This is the youtube link.

Pat uses ordinary flour for dusting, and less water than he says. She
leaves it 12 hours overnight, just in the kitchen. Perfect bread every
    time.

Called in to local Aldi at mid-day today and oddly enough they still
had exactly one of everything still on the shelves. I had half a mind
to pick up one of the air ratchets, if I happened across one - so I
took the last one. The look like a well built piece of kit.

I was in Aldi this AM, and there were a good half dozen compressors sat

I don't know if its the recession to blame, or perhaps that the market
for such items has been almost satisfied. At one time all would be gone
within an hour of their opening.

I was brought up on a diet of Northern shite and wouldn't even look at a
fish unless it was swimming in a tank. Then I got wed to a Swedish bint and
lo and behold, my eyes (and gob) were opened to the delights of different
    thinking.

Not that I'm suggesting you get married, of course.

My mobile weight is someone Monz calls a fat bastard.
In that case, you've got the perfect tool. (for the job) My MM rattlers have
never given an ounce of trouble, just occasionally not enough ounces:)

For the money, they're unbeatable. I can't remember the last time I used a
manual 3/8ths ratchet since I got converted to using air. The 3/8ths stuff
rarely needs a massive amount of undoing power and the cheap air ratchets
are good at supplying what's necessary. I've even got a 1/4" drive air
ratchet and that's just fucking laziness.

They're doing biking gear again today. Boots, jackets, trousers etc. The
missus told me, but I was out at a guitar fair so I forgot to go.
