If it's pickled, I'll fucking eat it, although herring isn't my favourite.
It's not something my missus likes overly much either, but the boy-chic
loves it. His wife, on the other hand thinks it's disgusting, but she's a
Boltonian born and bred so that comes as no surprise.

Aldi's are usualy situated n areas of high laziness and un-employment, so
compressors aren't exactly high on the list of things in the "Must buy"
category. Must *steal* is a different matter though, so lock your garage.

  4. Champ explained on 22/03/2010 :
Assuming the fittings on the air ratchet are the same as those on
everything else, including the compressor - when I first got my
compressor I chased all over the place trying to match them. I tried
Thorite Pneumatics plus Machine Mart and none had come across them
before - this was a few years ago, so may have changed. I eventually
sourced some at a small pneumatics specialist I had never been to
    before.

I was advised to change them all over to the UK standard because they
were rubbish, but they have stood the test of time.

I'll have to introduce you to one of my old biology instructors. He
has a row of jars up on a shelf. They're filled with all kinds of
    pickled things.

PCL fittings (1/4" bore) is the standard "normal" fitting in the UK, but
HVLP (3/8ths bore) are better built and and obviously allow for a higher
volume of air to the tool.

UK standard is what Machinemart sell, and what I've changed all mine
    for.

Those crazy Machine Mart Men. they sell shit loads of air tool and a shit
load of fittings for the air tools. They also sell HVLP spray guns, but
*don't* sell HVLP fittings. At our local MM, they don't even know what the
    **** HVLP is.

I mentioned that when I went there for a few connectors a year or 3 back.
"Oh", was the extent of their response.
