Has your MP got over his bit of argy-bargy with The Echo, yet?

Should one suffer a 'home invasion' it's the ideal weapon to be in the
    process of 'cleaning'.
The sound of a cycling shotgun action has, I believe, a deterrent
    effect.

I can go to Ashlyn's in Ongar, but either way, it's further than I
should have to travel to a bloody butcher, IYSWIM.

I believed post 97 that semi auto shotguns over 2+1 were out for any UK
Civvie licence. In US spec the Franchi is 4+1

Fishmonger in Leigh does utterly superb kippers, I am told. Personally I
am not a great fan, so have not partaken, myself.

Sent a food parcel to "our boys" in the 'stan, then stuck it on his
    exes. Allegedly.

This is Leigh-on-Sea, yes? I had no idea that it's that bad. Seemed
quite genteel to me. The jeweller's (Hatton Jewellery) is an old client
/ pal. Very nice stuff he does.

It's nice to see you're still talking shit. Boerewors is floor
sweepings, always has been and always will be.

Not particularly, go a decent bakers at the end of the road and a
    butchers about 5 minute walk.

I have some _bad_ chicken karma. I worked on a chicken ranch once when
an epidemic of Newcastle disease came through the area. The first day,
I put the dead chickens in a trash bin. The next day, they filled a
few wheel barrels. By the 4th day, I drove a tractor into the barn and
tossed the lot into the trailer, (the sound of a pitchfork going
through a plump squawking chicken is memorable,) then drove to the
fuel station and soaked them with diesel fuel. Then it was off to a
big open pit, where I set them all on fire. There were quite a few
still alive and it was entertaining watching them running around in
flames. I single-handedly killed 50,000 chickens that week. But
considering that the only thing they ate or drank was an alphabet soup
of chemicals without any recognizable food made me think they weren't
really animals, anyway. In any case, I haven't eaten chicken since.

You must have been buying at some seriously pikey butchers.
In SA there are strict laws about what can be described as boerewors
and indeed many other food products. We could do with similar standards
    in the UK.

  17. On a shot gun certificate, one in the chamber two in the mag.

The wife and I both have part ones as well as shot gun certificates.

  18. Still legal on a FAC.
The 4 or 5 in the mag depends on the length of the cartridge.
1oz loads are available in shorter lengths.
1.25oz loads or longer only 4 in the mag

I would imagine that very few shooters in the US would know you could
get anything as small as 1 oz.
