    Tel Aviv.

    Any tips?

Other than "get a second passport", obviously.

Don't take a modified mobile with visible external wires.
It's a bonus, visit the jewish terror state and be banned from lands
of the pedophile prophet and vice versa.

I'm in Egypt in November and opinion seems divided as to how they feel
    about Israeli visa stamps.

Don't think it will be a problem, having an Egyptian or Moroccan visa
is not an issue going to israel. http://www.uk.cibt.com/ is a good
    starting point for checking.

I gave the UKPS a buzz earlier to check and the gist of it was that a
second passport might be a good idea.

Relations do look quite cordial though, so it may well not be an issue.

Was it Jaffa or Haifa he was going to?
I wonder if he's got there yet or if his missus managed to get him stopped at the border.

They don't[1] give a ****. I decided to go against the flow and got my
passport stamped by Israeli immigration. I subsequently made about 6
trips to Egypt. Only once did they stop on *that* page when flicking
through, but it was never an issue.

Prepare for a monster Q&A session getting out of Israel.

[1] Course, this was all pre-WMD days.

They can stamp on a post-it note type thing if you ask them to. Saves
the hassle and expense of spare passports.

Find a way of securing your schlong to your leg to avoid embarassing
trouser tent situations. Some of those women there are *HOT*

Unless it's changed, you'll need a letter from your employer explaining
why you need a second passport [1]. Unless it's a personal visit, then
    I don't know.

[1] I've found that attitudes vary from country to country.

  13. Oh Christ, then just suck it up. I've been to worse places on client
    visits.

    It's a client visit, not a holiday.

Wot he sez. It's leaving the country that's a pita, not getting in to
it. Whatever you do, don't lose your temper or refuse to give any
information because it's 'confidential'[1]. The people questioning you
are likely to be junior but srsly, don't try to be funny.

Make sure your laptop's charged (and no pr0n) beause they will often
want to have a look at it.

Dunno where you are staying but the Hilton down on the beach front is
pretty good. *really* good sushi there.

If you are driving but try not to crash into the car in front, not a
good idea. DAMHIKT. I got stopped by plod there once and he said my
license wasn't valid - I think he was wrong but you may want to check.

[1] I know of people that have been detained for *hours* for making off
the cuff comments about client confifentiality.
