I'm running an XP SP3 install in a VirtualBox under OSX Leopard which
works fine, apart from the input lag. I find that when I move the
mouse in the VirtualBox that the input is a bit jumpy or sluggish.

Obviously on the rare occasions when I boot my MacBook Pro into XP
this isn't an issue, it's only in the VirtualBox. Is there a setting
somewhere that I've missed which would reduce this input lag?

    Thankyee.

    Hrm, VirtualBox = £0, VMWare Fusion = $80.

    Really?

    So it is. Never noticed.

It does, OTOH actually work ;)
I was going to suggest Parallels, but it appears that they charge for
    that now.

I suppose you have asked at virtualbox.org ?

using version 3.0, or have you changed to 3.0.2 (speed issues with Solaris
    main fix I think).

however I did notice a few people moaning about MacOS issues with 3,x
    tried 2.2.4 ?

I'm running an XP SP3 install in a VirtualBox under Ubuntu 9.04 which
works fine. There's no input lag.

That doesn't solve your problem, but at least it's not a generic problem
    with VB.

Nothing, but if I'm testing a website in Mac Safari then in Windows
Safari I don't want to have to reboot into XP then back into Leopard
    repeating that all day.

I don't believe I'm wasting any time, my query is that I don't like
    moose lag.
