    :)

I dont care, I love my tools - there is nothing worse than scratting
about trying to find a small spanner for instance, and gettng a 9mm
    when you need an 8.

They all go back when Im done and if they are grubby they get a squirt
of WD and a wipe done.

Thats also why I never get ratchets with rubber handles, if they get
oil on you get oil all over your hands the next time and every other
    time you use it.

Nothing in those gurlie colours would get within ten feet of my
    toolboxes.

I have a really useful set of foldable Bondhus hex drivers that will
never go in the tool chests, because they are a pinky-purple colour

Heh. Reminds me of when one of my mates left a ratchet on top of the
air filter and slammed the bonnet lid down on it.

The owner wasn't pleased, nor was the garages owner who had to shell
    out to repair it :)

Heh. That reminds me of the time I took my pickup truck in for a
tuneup. They called me up the next day and said there was a problem.
After completing the work, they'd taken it out for a test drive.
They'd forgotten to close the bonnet lid properly and it flew open,
bending the latches and trashing the paint. (How fast were they going,
anyway?) They tried to blame me, saying the latches were faulty. That
lasted about 30 seconds, before they agreed to pay for everything.

In't that what roller cabs are for, so your boxes are always right "there"?
I must admit to buying another "roll thingy" recently because dragging a big
cab with a big cab on top got to be a ball-ache, so I got a two drawer roll
thing with a rubber top covered top shelf and an open tray at the bottom.

Great for just loading the tools you think you'll need to do a job and
dragging the tools *and* the workbench to where it's needed.
    Same

all hand Allen drivers in together with the
2 separate drawers for those. Top middle for Torx, Top right for Allen keys
and a third drawer (top left) for my Snap-On screwy with assorted bits.

all pliers and sidecutters together etc

    Same.

Air tools have tier own drawer as do my "portable" Blue Point socket sets
    (1/4 and 3/8 drives.

Organising tools is a fucking art form :)

I left the battery cover on the top of the rocker box and dropped the
bonnet. On the wife's car ffs. That cost me another day for **** all.

    Halfords too.

Mate of mine had that happen in his Metro at 90mph in the fast lane on
the M11, it bent over the top of the windscreen and smashed the sunroof
    in on his head.
