'The square root of **** all', relatively speaking.
    Nope.

HPI'ed it before me and Timo set off to pick this and his new toy up,
    and it's come back clean.
Aye... a bloody hard 20k though, looking at it. ;-)

    First impressions are:

It's quick... bloody quick, and has plenty to say for itself when you
roll the throttle on at motorway speeds.

It's not as linear power delivery wise as some of the reviews I found
online last night suggested, but not in a bad way... so I suspect
maybe at 19k on the clock it's nicely loosened up compared to the
    bikes tested in said reviews.

Fairly nimble on back roads, and the front brakes are excellent,
giving good progressive bite with plenty of feedback... a world apart
from the ZZR I tried yesterday, anyway.

And it's good on fuel given it returned 44mpg on the way back, which
impressed me anyway given I wasn't exactly hanging about.

The riding position is excellent legs wise, but the vibs sent my
backside to sleep after about 25 miles.

Bars wise, I'm going to look for a set of risers as it's just a tad
too heavy on my wrists at the mo, crucially when you're on the
motorway when you'd normally expect the wind to be lifting you off the
    bars a little.

Body wise it's a bit tatty... there's quite a few marks on it, a
couple of fairing bolts missing, and there's a couple of small
inspection panels (2" square, if that each), missing from the
fairing. That, and the matt plastics have faded enough to suggest
it's spent a lot of time living outside in the past.

Not a complete disaster anyway, and I suspect just giving it a bloody
good clean and polish this week will reveal something half respectable
    underneath.

The seller was brilliant - the description he gave on the auction was
spot on, bar it looks more like the rear tyre needs replacing than the
    front.

So all in all, it might not be a minter, but having done over 100
miles on it this afternoon without any problems I think I've had a
right result... and having now ridden it and found it to my liking, I
reckon I'll stick with plan A and hang on to it and use it for a
while, much as I'd initially decided after I'd won it that 'I doubt
it'll be my cup of tea really, so I'll just give it a quick mop it
over and punt it straight back out again'.
