it helps to have them all have the same name.

I had 2 or 3 "Lisa"s on the go at the same time.

My sister's chickens have done much the same, terrified her cat and
    all others in the vicinity.

Pfft. In my teens, I went out with seven consecutive Susans.

    or just plain Jurassic:

Bloke at work had three Lisa's on the boil at once, too.

That's something that would have been worth knowing a few years back.

Everyone of my girlfriends has been called Darlin'. I'm fucking useless

LOL, yep and we've been home a few hours and started to put it together
in the near dark then gave up when we'd had a couple of shandys so
that's a job for tomorrow morning.

A big thanks though Nigel for this, dead chuffed :)

"Darlin" works with some; "Sweetheart" with some others.

none of them seem to like "Treacle" for some reason.

it was amazingly handy - no chance of calling out the wrong name at a
    - erm - inopportune time. Equally handy a few years later was the fact
that three of my mates (all three in completely different social
circles) all had partners called Fiona - saved a lot of thinking.
blackmail? Isn't that contrary to FSA guidelines for a man in your
    position?

It certainly doesn't with a mockney accent.

I was accused of having a Canadian accent the other day - the fucking
    cheek!
