    Hello my dear sir.

If someone wants to flog an EO02 reg Kwak ER-5, nearly 19k on the
clock, post crash (clocks don't look happy) and with a small hole in
the seat. Scratches on the tank from the crash but otherwise in
perfect working order (speedo works, for example) how much can one
    expect?

    Not much, I suppose.

More if you sell it on eBay :)

Can the cost of getting a man in (YKWIM) be offset against the price of
    a new (to you) bike?

I once sold a perfectly good bike because I couldn't be arsed to change
    the chain and sprockets!

It's my ER-5. Do you want to buy another one?

If the bike is worth pennies then I'll keep it, but I'm just seeing
what my options are. This fucking chain adjustment nightmare is
    annoying me no end.
    I am becoming you.

IKWYM. It might be worth agreeing a price with a local mechanic before
he starts work if that's what you want to do. The last thng you want is
to be charged 4 hours labour to get a nut off.
You seem perfectly balanced to me.

    Hello my dear sir.
    FFS!
Get it up here and I'll sort it out sometime next week.

Shirley it's not unrideable and only needs a small mount of TLC and a few
quid chucked at it to make it more valuable, usable or sellable.
