S'funny, I've had nothing but good things to say about my bank. I've
been with them for absolute years, their online banking is a dream,
phone support is at local rates and you get through to an English human
that knows what they're talking about but curiously I never got so much
of a phonecall when I emptied my accounts and maxxed my credit card
    buying the R1.

I do do a lot of spending in bike shops but even so...

I can find fault but on the whole mine are fine.

I won't use online banking because they don't support Opera but as of
two days ago I got pissed off enough with gmail not doing the same that
I am trying Firefox so I may use online banking in the future.

I can get through to my local branch and they all know me as Steve,
except the new kids and they soon learn.

They did it when they first introduced live analysis of spending and as
I am a binge shopper I lit flags up all over the place.

I just do far too much spending.

The only fault I could find with mine was that they'd not credited my
credit card with a online transfer I did but it turned out ok after a
    bit of a faff.
Firefox works well for almost everything I need and is highly
    configurable.
Yep. I still buy as many toys and treats as I did whenI was buying
dinosaur stickers and sweets only now those "treats and sweets" cost a
    lot more money.

My bank only contacts me to sell me something.

They never tell me when I've gone overdrawn:)

    Fucked if I would.

I read it as Essex Police saying, "**** of somewhere else and report
these attempts to defraud you, we are only interested if they are
    successful."

**** nose what has happened to any concept of crime prevention round
here. I suppose it disappeared when their pensions were converted to
track arrests rather than overall levels of reported crime. Paper chase
innit and the victim is the one who suffers.

I meant I'd very much like to see the look on their face(s) when you
    reported each one individually.
Yeah, it was like when I 999d the cunts a couple of weeks ago.

They phoned two hours later asking if I still needed them. They were
worse than useless when I phoned to report someone (who I suspected to
be) breaking in next door as well - They had me on hold for 15 minutes
    before I gave up.

Rest assured, I *shall* find out.

I do have some sympathy for them, probably for each Real call they get
there is 10 dickheads just wasting their time.

The funny bit is where they claim your account was accessed from an IP
address that doesn't look like your IP address.

Like any bank is going to restrict which IP addresses can access
    specific customer accounts.

A silly trap designed to catch even sillier people.

by the way if you use ALT+PrtScn you'll only capture the active window,
thus depriving the likes of us of the opportunity of taking the piss
    out of your musical tastes.

Alt + Print Screen would capture the contents of the window frame.
Anything that is laying over the window would also be captured too. I
decided that I should leave WinAmp open to give the image more
character and give someone like you the chance to say something about
    it.
