I dunno if you've looked into these before, but it appears they will do a
return trip via Dover and Boulogne, for £50, be it by car or bike.

Obviously not as cheap as the usual suspects if you're just planning to go
for the day, but going by all the horror stories I've heard in the past
regarding the cost of getting across if you're planning to be holidaying for
a week etc., it looks a bit of a bargain to me.

Anyway, HTH, and of course, no... I'd have no interest in getting the French
run departing the UK from a point just off my doorstep. ;-)

Hmmmm, wonder when they started the bike service, as I emailed them a
goof few months back asking and they said 'in the future we may offer
it' and promised to let me know when.

I ran a quote as if I wanted to take the CBR across next week for two weeks,
and it came back with a price and times.

Good good... Boulogne is a nicer place to land than Calais, anyway.

  6. Nice info. Ta.

Right now, the Daily Mail is running a day trip or weekend promotion (24
hours for about 30 quid) with POSL. DAILYMAIL is the promotional code.
