it's a keeper, it really is, but you're in danger of becoming a
    caricature of yourself.
I suggested doing so last Saturday evening, following the posts last
week, but was turned down in favour of "Julie and Julia"[1]. One can
get one's own back of course: following last nights breast-thrustingly-
awesome "Only Connect", I put on "Koyaanisqatsi". That cleared the
room fairly quickly, allowing me to put on what I really wanted to
    watch[3].

[1] Is Meryl Streep[2] really that massive, or is there a lot of
    hidden CGI in that movie?
[2] hey, Sweller, at least your shitty Jag engine is 10 years younger
    than Meryl Streep.
    [3] Dark Star.

I said it last time that was mentioned, & I'll say it again now - I
really, really have to watch that again soon.

I had to watch Enter the Dragon again last night. Because it rocks.

I have a decent quality download of Forbidden Planet which I watched
recently. Stacks up surprisingly well for 1956 and Anne Francis was really
    cute.

oh, it was really, really bad. No guns, car chases, drug-abuse scenes,
female nudity or any of the good stuff. Lots of pretentious (and shit)
French cookery recipes, though. I almost burnt my copy of Larousse in
    disgust.
hah - it's not a film to watch. It's a film to be on in the same room
as you are, doing something else. Fantastic Philip Glass soundtrack -
I bet even an URST like yourself would recognize/appreciate some of
    the music from it.
the beach-ball alien tapping it's claws makes me laugh like a fucking
    drain every time.

Can I just interject that Matthew Broderick is a c*nt of the highest
order, and is only saved from further wrath by the genius of 'Ferris
    Beullers day off'.

I hate him almost as much as Ralph Macchio, and that's saying
    something ..
