One of my local-ish dealers appears to have K7s in stock.... 30 months
0% finance, but they want full list for them.

Appleyards in Keighley have a very nice brand new Grey one with full
    fairing for £4200.

I'm no expert, but i'd say that there's the same choice, just that the
    prices differ.

e.g now's a good time to sell, but not buy. In the winter vice versa.

Suzuki's stock system was saying all dealers are out of K7s two weeks
    ago. Are they pre-regd?

Dunno - but the place that has the K4 is offering 0% on K8s.....

Might even be worth trading the VFR against one with a 0% deal.
(Any small loss I make vs. private sale is made up for by the 0% deal)

  8. There's a very nice 1997 900SS going not far from me. Bidding is on
£1200 or so with less than a day to run.

I'm sorely tempted, although I know that the 750 is a far more sensible
thing to own. But if I do bid and win it, then my 750 would be up for
    grabs...

    Yeah, was looking at that.

Still thinking - but going to have a look at the SV650s this afternoon.

Do it, but try and screw the fairing lowers out of him into the bargain
as well. And, if it's a black one, ask for a black seat cos the red
    seat is utterly gash.

  11. FFS tell me if you decide to bid on it.

We don't want to be bidding against each other.

He was, even I was tempted by the 8.32.

I was a bit sheddy though. Not as 'nicely shite' as i'd like.

Plus I have enough dead cars about the place as it is. All I need is a
Rottweiler and some barbed wire to complete the full on pikey camp
    look.

OK having owned a dry clutch Ducati in the past, I'd prefer a similar era
750 or a modern wet clutch variant.

I think that was on the club board not so long ago...

I also know of a 900SS with weak spark problems that was going
for £700, but it was in Devon ffs.

    <emailed>

Looked at a new SV, but they wouldn't budge on list price *and* quoted a
silly finance figure, so I walked....

    I thought you'd said it was 0%.

Or was that a different one?

Their webshite said 0%, they said 'oh, that has finished now - it's a
£400 cashback instead' - then he did some figures on the calculator and
came back with 'thing is, the finance would be less than the £400
    anyway', only it wasn't.

He didn't want to budge on price, even as a cash sale, his finance rates
were shocking (higher than my credit card) and his part-ex price on the
VFR was lower than I've been offered over the phone against an SV Thou
    by nearly £400.
