He'd probably be quite bothered if he was holding it like a bowling
    ball.

    then.

Too soon to say, as I'm still a long way off fully recovered. Recently
I seem to have been getting worse, although the physio assures me that
it's just that I'm regaining a little flexibility which is using more
muscles that have been dormant for 18 months. Not sure I'm convinced,
    TBH.

Sp I haven't done much cycling; in fact, the ten miles we did this
morning were the first time I'd been out this year, and we were taking
it very easily as it was Jude's first time following her knee
    reconstruction surgery last month.

So I'll think about it and see if we're up for it a bit closer to the
    time.

  11. Ach, anyone who had a bike with a Raleigh headlamp bracket had one of
    those already. Hardly new stuff.

Quite. Chap at work has just got a new fixie, flip flop hub on it. Very
nice, which it should be considering it cost £2.5k.

I was gonna convert my old commuting MTB to a singlespeed, but am
thinking of getting an ss from these guys

Good idea. I recently (3 mths ago) got a Bianchi Via Nirone Carbon. I
was debating in the shop whether to go for the slightly more expensive
105 version, or the cheaper Campag Veloce version. Opinion from all the
guys in the shop said it was just wrong to get an Italian bike and not
    have Campag on it!

    Exactly.

I really, really want Campag Chorus, but given it's the same price as
Shimano Dura Ace I think it's unlikely. So it'll be Centaur as well.

Or I'll crumble and use Shimano Ultegra.

  16. Yes, poor fools, I pity them!
There is one, an FZ1-N that I bought new in April last year. Yes, I sold
the XT because it wasn't fast enough :)

Howyou doin'? Not seen you post on here for a while.
