It goes, its been well looked after (apart from one "ahem" small spill),
    I'd pay 2k for it :)

Wonder what the XJ900F is worth :)

  5. Cult bike. People love 'em, and 63k is accepted to be nothing for that
    lump.

  8. I've just done a "completed auctions" search on Ebay.

The cheapest one that sold made exactly £2k. Younger and lower mileage
than Bruce's, but with a horrible paint scheme.

And plenty didn't struggle over £2k and failed to sell. There were
several priced around £2.5k that didn't get a single bid.

Really, really strange: no pattern to it at all. I mean, there was a
lovely SP model with just under 10k miles that was bid up to a mere
    £1550.

So maybe £2k is a bit high. But £1750-1800 is achievable. Or would be
one week, but not the next. It seems to be the case that if it sells,
it'll make close to £2k or it won't sell whatever happens. Weird.

As I am not selling it, it does not matter, it was just for ins co.

But its nice to know how cheaply I can replace it if needed :)
