Paging TOG, Your guestimation on SOB please.

    I have a 1999 Tiger and the seat is almost flat bench-like. SWMBO
    refuses to go pillion on the newer style because she
    a bad neck/back from all the turbulence etc. I'd like something for
    touring with the new 1050 motor but not this "sports" design.

    I have, though *cough* it was due to my neglect. I just caught it in
    time.

    I did also have BMW K100 whose previous owner had put some incredibly
    heavy grease on that thickened so much in cold weather that it
    affected the handling significantly.

    I've also had to adjust bearings: on at least two bike I've bought,
    the head races were loose.
