  2. That's on in the background here. The moggy one.

Small daughter comments on something going at 172mph. In tones of
    scathing unimpressedness

'You've been that fast on your bike.'
    'Not on mine.'
    'Matt's been that fast.'
    'um yes'
    'they're rubbish'

Generally I don't think it will hinder it, however...

seeing our local newsreader (http://www.alex-lovell.co.uk/) do an
afternoon quiz show (C5, Brainteaser) that involves a lot of getting the
audience going to get them to call in on a premium rate number has,
IMHO, completely undermined her authority as a newsreader.

That said, I suspect she'll make more money doing the quiz stuff than
    reading the news...

And as an aside, it was nice seeing Lisa Rogers in Cheltenham a few
    months back :)

    I fully understand ;-)
    Err... there's a few clues on http://www.alex-lovell.co.uk/

Alex can be seen on Five's Live Brainteaser every week day at 12.30pm.

Alex can be seen on Points West, most week days at 6.30pm on BBC1 West.

Alex also provides the voice-over for Channel 4's daily show "Deal Or
    No Deal".

So, C5 if you want to be irritated, BBC1 if you want the sexy
    newsreader.

Short, Welsh, and fancied by Champ.

She must have done something truly awful in a previous incarnation.
