  2. My mates definitely coming now and his pillion is doubtful - so if
you're up for sharing a twin there will probably be one available.

Seriously considering it myself, I assume people are camping sat night and
coming back on Sunday right ? (I did try googling earlier but couldn't see
    a finite thread).

  4. It's not paid for - there's just a hotel booking made.

  5. Friday and Monday booked off.

Are people booked onto any particular mode of channel crossing ?

Thinking of Eurotunneling it Friday middayish.

Will be over in the cage so am willing to fold down the seats to allow for
tents/beers etc should anyone want to take a bit of weight of the back
    wheel.

  6. POSL.com 13:00 out on Friday, 15:25 back on Sunday.

Meet in the bar I guess unless people fancy a meet somewhere M25/M20?
I'll be travelling from Brum down the M40.

It's the only way to go IMHO. Anything less is a shedload more hassle and
    time.

  8. Booked + L' Hotel - I think !

Why they make Company and Port obligatory info on the room reservation form
    is beyond me !

It wasn't more expensive and it's so quick by the time I've cleaned my visor
and had a piss I'm there. Neither do I have to mix with the X-Channel Prols.

I'm sure there is give and take on the prices. It was £71 for bike and 2,
the ferry was similar but i was booking last minute.

I don't get SS on small boats, I do sometimes on CC ferries though.

depends when you go/come back - if you only wanted to pop over
Saturday morning, and come back on Sunday afternoon, the Eurotunnel is
    around 25 quid.

Sincere apologies an' all that, but they don't make towbars for my cage -
there's an exhaust where the towbar would fit :p

20 - 24th July according to the IHRO website http://www.ihro.org.uk/circuits/chimay.htm

I'm toying with going myself, just booking a ferry or tunnel ticket
and camping cos I don't want to stay in a hotel. If I do go then I'll
leave Friday midday and come back on Monday morning.

  19. If you're going, I *insist* on standing next to you when they have the
stroker racing, because I want to capture the look on your face wiv me
    trusty Nikon.

More seriously, I could lob in a little propane bottle and two-ring
stove if you have space and there's any interest in getting a decent
    brew going on Sunday morning.
