    SV650S K5, 05 plate (May 2005) in blue.
4300 miles, but about to do the French run, so call it 5000.
Pretty darn good nick (I actually wash it!)
Other than a carbon hugger it's completely standard.
It's having its 4k mile service and first MOT on Wednesday.

I'd love to sell it for £2800 (cue laughter from Loz) but I'm open to
    any sensible offer.

I'll be taking it to France, so you're welcome to look it over and take
it for a quick spin on your mate's behalf.

Yeah, you just add fairing lowers - Banditmania and the like have been
flogging them for donkeys years. There haven't been any real changes to
the SV650 since the K5 anyway, so I'd be surprised if the genuine Suzuki
bits didn't bolt straight on. Loz?

Don't you think you've overplayed the "I don't care what I eat" card
yet? Been watching this thread with amusement all afternoon, wondering
when you'll come out with a "just fishing" post, but it almost seems
like you've convinced yourself to believe your own propoganda.

FWIW I''m 99% sure that you _could_ tell the difference between
diffferent types of potatoes. You may not _want_ to, but that's
    another matter altogether.

Quite right too. Proper mashed potato can be quite special.
Heh. It's one of the few areas of food preference where I'd agree with
her. Instant mash is a travesty.

The only time I've seen QEs was on my solitary visit to Al Fayed's
Grocery, when I first moved to London in '82.

    They're rank.

The fairing lowers are a genuine Suzuki aftermarket add-on, and they
cost roughly 400 quid with all the required brackets and fixings

Not at all. Instant mash is disgusting.

My Saturday treat when I first left home was grilled steak, Smash, and
    Heinz beans.

Mainly cos I only had a small electric grill, a camping Gaz stove, and
a nelectric kettle. All other nutrition was provided by the Pru's
canteen. Or the local curry/kebab shops.
    Kick her out, ykims.

Would I heck. My local Asda is 600m away. Unfortunately that's metres,
not miles. I ride six miles to Sainsbury's in preference.

Alleged cholesterol reducing properties eh? We have a fair length of

    light. "Here we go gathering..."
