    Absolute insanity!

    Maybe we're both under-valuing them!

    That R100RT went for £1571 in the end - more than my £1500 max.

    Well, the K price is extraordinary. The R went for more or less what I
    reckoned it would, if one was prepared to take a chance on the gearbox.

    Aye, I was temped to stick another £200 on it, just to get it - but
    then, if it was a gearbox issue, I'd be well out of pocket.

    Starting to think that the K1100LT-SE I've been offered on the back of
    an owner's club wanted advert at £2400 is worth having now.

    Punted £2500 on it, about 10 secs from the end, but it wasn't enough - I
    needed at least £2650 to buy it.
