    Right,

I'm off to Vegas for a couple of weeks, I vaguely remember someone
posting that they wanted some septic sweeties brought back if anyone
was going. I can't find the post though, so best to remind me what it
was if you still want them.

I think Adie was after some Tylenol. Not sure that that qualifies a
    sweets over there...

Have a good one, and keep your shirt.

    You don't have Tylenol there?

    Yes. We call it paracetamol.

I think it is just some viral marketing by Ace & Adie.

It was my Owen - he wants some tropical flavour Lifesavers. Please get
some if you can, it would stop him going on about it. Beer tokens
    available.

If Adie turns up in the next few hours and confirms that rumour then
I'm sure I could pick some up. I'm assuming that Tylenol is pretty much
    the Neurofen for septics ?
I shall do my best to manage both of those. Ta.

No, it's paracetamol, although they use a different name,
acetaminopen. So as brands go it'd be equivalent to Panadol. In any
event, I'm assuming she'd just want the cheapest, which is generally
something like $10-$15 for a bottle of 500 in a supermarket.

I don't use the stuff myself, but always stock up on a bottle or two
of similarly-priced ibuprofen, which we get though quite a lot of,
specially in the ski season when J needs about ten a day to keep the
    knees functioning.

Right, well that's pretty much what I meant. Given that she's just
turned down a similar offer in another thread and hasn't popped up on
this one I'll not pick any up.

I'm off to the airport then.

Paracetamol are about 1p per tab and ibuprofen 2p in Tesco/Asda/Wilkinsons
    - although the UK nanny state rules of only allowing you to buy in packs of
16 from supermarket shelves is a PITA.

    <pedant> Acetaminophen

it may be the same as paracetamol but I find it works better for me at
killing pain. maybe I've just got used to paracetamol.

I tend to get the extra strength stuff in a large bottle of maybe 200.
the bottle i have at present is a 100 tablet 500mg bottle.

FFS. Spelling falmes don't become you.
It _is_ paracetamol. Like I said, it's just a different name for the
same molecule. I've checked this, you know.
Placebo effect. You believe it'll be better, so it is. Hope I haven't
    shattered that illusion now ;-)
