Why? I guess I should know but where has this phrase come from and what does it mean? -- Gavin. http://www.stoof.co.uk For the road: GSXR600 K1 For the track: GSXR400 GK76A For the rest: Citroen Belingo

Until I return the rearsets I stole off Kwakzilla when I broke one of my footrests at the GP. I really need to buy a new set of footrests or rearsets for the 10R and remove any damaged plastics ready for repairing before it gets too cold. The bike's going early next year and I want it scrubbed up nice and clean before I get rid. I wonder if Christofire feels the urge for another C2 10R yet?

Champ was in the habit of namedropping his trips to the island so often that someone (Pip) started charging him a quid a mention, swear-box style. Fast-forward a bit of linguistic evolution and we have pahnd island.
I think it started off as any kind of mention of racing [1], as I've been pulled up for it a couple of times[2], but you're right that the proliferation of use in connection with That There Island coined [ha!] a new phrase. [1] In fact, wasn't there an award?[3] [2] Actually, I think there was... [3] Never received it though...
