Painting engine covers

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Miles Reading, Aug 23, 2004.

  1. I'm slowly fixing up my old suzuki gn125 and I've had a trawl on
google looking for advice on spraying engine covers - does anybody
know where I can get hold of the silver paint to do this?

Halfords do aluminium engine paint but I dont think it is the same
stuff as used on the suzuki's engine covers and I only want to spray
the engine covers as the rest of the engine is in quite good nick.

Thanks in advance, old learned wise ones!

Get hold of Owen, who posts here a bit. He's local to you, and is in
that line of business. He'll be able to help, I'm sure.

Our line of work is more in the body-panels area, where heat isn't an
issue, but I'll make enquiries and let you know what I come up with...
email me your tel. no. or email address...
