Right, i'm gonna repaint Champs old racebike, a nice satin black finish
would be good. It doesn't need to be mega as it is likely se the ground at
    some point.

It's got a rather gay paintjob at the minute.

What paint can i use, i have no idea whats on it, what sort of prep work?

Never really done much painting before.

The fairing is a bit untidy anyway, so no super showbike finish.

How many cans am i likely to need to do it all black, all bits?

Oh... ignore FB, I see you have excellent taste without my help.
Hang on, I'll just go check in the shed...

....Sperex Tough Black Satin. It's petrol proof, which is obviously
quite important when you can't use a petrol proof clearcoat. It's also
    tough. And black. And satin.
    Several-many.
