  1. If there are any Patriot Guard Riders reading this and you are in the
Breckenridge, TX area... and you are available for Wednesday, August
5, 2009, we will be escorting a brother Veteran and Biker (Steve Cook,
a.k.a. "Buzzard"), to his final resting place.

This is the information I received:

  3. I feel like I'm talking to myself but what the hell... I'm a good
    listener.

It was a real nice turnout at Steve's farewell. We had more than
enough riders for the flag line (had 25 flags... and more showed up).
It was one heck of a motorcycle escort.
The Marines gave a good show (Steve was, as I lovingly refer to him, a
Jarhead). The pipes on those motorscooters were nice and loud. He
    had to be proud. :)

Steve passed on, way too young (age 51), from a massive heart attack.
    Y'all take care of yourselves.
If you've got a heart, take care of it!

    Pegs down, ride safe,
    Sunny

damn...sounds like my grandfather at a young 61. Was going to retire
early at 62 sell the grocery store and sail his boat from the Port of
Catusa, Ok to Key West. On a side note just did Cut Bank to LasVegas
    in under 24hr on US93.

Only from the Uhaul ride back. ;^) I went down to do the right thing
and well ended up with a nice lady a Cacasian Ovcharka bitch and half
full Uhaul for the ride back. THAT killed my ass. Between Missoula, MT
and Salmon, ID the only thing sore was the 4 harley tourers and 2-3
sport/sport touring bikes that got left in my dust...all I did was 5
over the posted. Mind you I was doing 35 in the hairpins marked for 25
and the ninjette had more it could give.

8^) Not that I was flying mind you...I was just keeping up with
traffic. Granted I was the only traffic for all intents and
porpises. ;^) You try keeping up with yourself some time!
