In North Sydney, the new Pizza Hutt place is taking over the bike parks with its delivery scooters. There's at least half a dozen of them parked there permanently taking space away from the regular folk, in what was already a packed parking space. What is the take on this? It doesn't affect me as I get there early enough to have a spot, but I'm imagining that there's now at least 6 riders who now have to park somewhere else because of this. Is this considered fair use for a business to use free parking which commuters could and should otherwise be using? Also since the boom in motorcycle registration, are any councils responding by offering more parks?
