Participating the bike camp on Donington

Way back in '96 I used the low value of the £ to finally visit England.
I had a wonderfull two week B&B-vacation on my GPZ900 along the island,
aiming for the bike GP-weekend on Donington midways.
Due to the B&B detail I did'nt use the possibility of the bike-camp at
the races, but i remember some talk about not being able to enter the
bike-camp without actual being on a bike - Can anybody confirm anything
like that?

The case is that there has been opened a flight-route to East Midlands
from Copenhagen and I consider the possibility of a fly-in participation
of the fun. However, if it is'nt possible to enter the bike-camp as a
"biker without bike" I rather have to drop the idea or at least make
some (backseat-)arrangement before leaving home!
