Why do you assume it's supposed to be a put down?

You're obviously interested in these subjects, and if you haven't read his books

before, he's basically the mother lode of this stuff.

For the record I'm a great admirer of Chomsky, he's relatively
objective, and goes into great detail about why these events occur.

These reasons tend to make you more circumspect about, at least some, of
these events. Might do you good.

You oughtta see how many occy straps it takes to carry a crucifix and a
can of petrol on the 'bike, almost not worth the hassle.

    Good thanks, Pete

Just givin' Pauly and Intacto some help in their 'Beware the New World
    Order' recruitment campaign.

Pete, you really need to read Chomsky's 'Year 501' book, it's a bit
heavy going, but it will change your outlook forever, I promise.

Why did Chomsky name his yearbook after a pair of Levi's?

    So you both drive Volvo's?

    If the Doc Martins fit....

Nothing up my sleeves, subliminally or otherwise.

However palatable they may be to me, the fact that I hadn't arrived

All my information is pasteurized and MSG free.

For that reason, rather than wade through and take to heart long

    As opposed to what.

    What's the question?

    I don't get the connection.

    It inevitable.

Someone who describes himself as a "pathological iconoclast" expects a
    serious response?
It was a joke wasn't it? Wasn't it??????

    1...2...(scratches head)...was that a put down?..3...4.....5
Ah well, too late now. I'll never know.

  15. The whole fuggin _airport_ had wireless broadband for free when I was there in
May (they hadn't sorted out the "buy a coupon to pay for access" bit, so they
were just letting anyone use it - sweeeeettt!)

big (well, by "wireless broadband", I mean 802.11b, not 802.11g...)

The overall conclusion seems to be that by the time anyone has
worked out how to charge for it, the price point will be so low
that they'll have to give it away to break even ...
