Serviced Guzzi (read: balanced carbs, washed winter shit off it and
topped up black dishwater) and took it for an almighty thrash across
    Sussex.

Huge performance gains have been made with it readily going off the
clock (120) and for so little cost. Seems the stone and a half I've
shed since Christma has made a big difference.

Downside: my recent boasting about the shocks has come back to bite me
as on one occasion the bike landed badly and twsited itself up and
neeeded a fearsome amount of wrestling to keep it going in the right
direction. As a result I've pulled something between my shoulders and
I'm in a certain amount of pain.

To be honest it needed more wrestling than normal which may also
    explain my hurty wurty back.

Some of these crazed motorcycle speed-freaks just can't seem to learn
their lesson. Maybe some hard time will teach him that you can't out-run
    the LAW!
