It was claimed in the past that the price of petrol would climb by one cent for
every dollar the oil price increased. Doesn't seem to be doing that in reverse.
In fact it should have dropped by a dollar

The rise and fall is the fault of greedy capitalists not any particular
political party.

Same as our rent going up with property prices in the boom, now further
increases claimed to be because of a shortage of rental properties.
