It gets about 10l/100 kilometres on the highway with the cruise control set
at 110 kph, the 42 psi in the tyres may help here also (recommended
    pressures).

  2. I get about 13- 13.5 litres/ 100kms out of my series 3 4.2 Soverign on
the highway, just for comparison's sake.

Yes but the point you are missing is that it's not permitted to charge
for existing stock because new stock cost more, and FIFO is the main
method of ensuring one doesn't do that... so some one not using FIFO
isn't most likely breaking the price regulations.

How many litres of oil can you buy for the cost of a rebuild?

It breaks traction very easily with the traction control turned off, give it
the berries and it will just sit in one place tearing the tyres to bits.
Driving hard 25 litres /100 kilometres would be about right, but in my
experience I would not reach 100 kilometres before Mr Plod wanted to have a
chat. You want 350HP you have to pay for it.

  18. Dunno, but surprised how many Jag owners are here? The V 12 is a great
engine, but I surely couldn't afford to feed one at the moment!
