Yeah, so whats this got to do with two coppers who decide to have their
donuts and coffee in front of a parked truck?

Whinge about them doing us wrong if/when they do, but they've done **** all
wrong here. I think the original poster will be thrilled with how far this
troll has gone, and as I said before, he should be finding something better
    to do on Saturday nights.

so, if I sit on 60 km/h for 2 days I'll be able to judge 60 easily but I'll
be fucked if the speed limit changes to 80 for a k or 2 iun my trip?
Sounds pretty sensible and logical to me....NOT!

    cheers

Perhaps over here they see it as more sensible for police to do actual
policing, leaving the revenue raising (oops shouldn't that be life-saving?)
to public servants who have no policing abilities?

    cheers

If the speed limit changes to 80 you'll be well within the limit, and won't
have to worry about being caught speeding.

Yeah, that's right, because last night when I was reading the
Australian Road Rules Act before I went to sleep, I noticed it said
that police I have to have big lights, fluoro vests, visible from 100
metres approach/depart and do a pamphlet drop the night before to warn
people... My Mistake Knob, I take it back.

Yeah, Knob for Prime Minister!!! How do you plan on paying for all the
Capital works and your self imposed superannuation rise Mr Knob????
    Oooohhh.. parking on the footpath/bus lane/clearway/no stopping/no
parking/no standing/taxi zone and not using indicators, speeding and
doing u-turns of solid and double lines... you poor bastard, you were
    victimised!!!!

Oh, did I mention riding along the footpath through pedestrians too?
Yeah, I've seen how the bike couriers ride in the city....

You do get taxed on everything, it's called the GST. And that doesn't
include fuel and tobacco excise, income tax, land tax, capital gains
    tax etc etc
Like it or not, "revenue raising" is here to stay. Just like the GST.

All I'm saying is that people know speed cameras are out there. grow
up and stop crying like a baby when you get caught. Accept
responsibility for your own actions rather than trying to blame
others. It's a gamble, you may or may not get caught. But if you don't
like being caught, then don't play the game!!

And they have to explain their actions to every dickhead that comes
along and tells them how to do their job??

    Hmmmmmmmm, yeah

    Get over it

Police are exempt from the parking regs? Under all circumstances? Try
parking in a Clearway while you pick up your Maccas in Perth and you'll be
    hearing from your boss.

  16. So you should. Camera cars, which is what the OP (not that I believe a word
of his particular incident, but it is par for the course as far as the
behaviour of coppers manning car-mounted cameras goes) claimed he came
across, may not be concealed and they have to be marked with one of those
portable SPEED CAMERA IN USE signs. In practice, the sign is left 50m up the
road, and the cop car cosies up to some overhanging bushes, a bus shelter,
or whatever cover is at hand...
You know how, in school, you'd sometimes talk the backward kid into taking
his ruler and slapping himself across the forehead with it? You could laugh
the first five or six times he does it, maybe giggle the next three or four,
but then, as he just keeps going and keeps hitting himself harder and
harder, it starts to worry you and, eventually, you become scared...
I find it strange you've chosen Greg as your online name. The way you
baselessly think too highly of yourself, repeatedly demonstrate how dim you
are, and pole-vault to conclusions, shouldn't you call yourself Tatiana?

So answer the question once and for all.
    Who pays for the HWP?
the RTA or the nsw police force?

  20. So, what you're trying to say is that you lack the reasoning capability
required to deduce that killing people may not be the optimum way to solve a
    problem. Right?

No wonder we have to have such tightly-formulated and -enforced rules and
laws if there are idiots like you running around...
