yes yes, very true. BUT - getting a bike I can pick up off myself would
narrow my choices to, um.... let me see..... a Malvern Star. No thanks, I'll
take my chances with motorbicycles and just try not to drop them on myself
    ;-)

I was thinking something along the lines of a CT90.

Or get one you can crawl out from under like a BMW twin or, of
    course... a Guzzi!

One of the drunk stumblers on the Saturday beer lap left her old digi camera
in a toilet. Panic set in. She reported it to the Police and showed up on
Sun morn hopeful. It was handed in, although the cheeky buggers had perused
all her pics. She had about 4 mem sticks and there was a different one in
the cam. Wonder when she'll find the special pic that whoever handed it in
    too.....

The mob at V8 Stupidcars would have pawned it that night.

Well, if you happened to be in Sydney sometime, I could let you ride the
    Z50. :)

I was in an outfit with 2 teenagers sitting in it, sort of dark grey
    colour.

The chair was a HRD 1.5 and the bike was a GSX1100G with a leading link
    front end.

I saw 3 other outfits on the run and none were remotely similar to mine
so it was almost certainly us.

I turned off before Bombala onto the Mt Imlay road, and stayed in Eden.

    Nice weather Tuesday though.

    Tathra-Tilba,Moruya-Araluen-Braidwood-Nerriga-Nowra and home on the
    Wee.

Rode down to Lakes Entrance Thursday arvo/night via Bombala, and
detoured up to Dargo on Friday--didn't get to the track until
    Saturday.

I just want to know, why is it when you drop a bike, that you are
immediately spotted by people who gleefully pass the message on to all
your mates? The first time this happened to me, having been riding for
about a month, hardly anyone knew I was riding, by the time I got back
up and rode to uni, the phone was bouncing off the hook with cruel
    people laughing ...[1]

    Cheers
