    Nice new clutch.

Only taken two weeks to fix and then they couldn't finish the job because a
special tool broke and they can't get a new one for weeks.

I will now have a 'weeping' rear drive something or other.

So it'll match the sodding rider then, won't it?

Great customer service skills there. Arranging for the next nearest
dealer to do it is presumably too much trouble for them.

Sorry to hear about your K1200RS woes.

    The ZZR1200 is behaving beautifully!

You seem to have bad dealers around there though as there were a
couple of things wrong with the ZZR that should have been picked up:-

The chain was incredibly stretched. I noticed a little 'knock'
from the transmission when I test rode it, didn't seem too
serious. When I checked back home it turned out to be the
chain riding up the sprockets and then dropping back down to the
bottom. It was so stretched that it was completely impossible to
adjust sensibly. Chain and sprockets now replaced and all is well
    on that front.

There's play in one of the rear suspension bearings, it's not too
awful and is cheap to fix but surely should have been noticed at
    the last service.

BTW can anyone tell me what the standard front sprocket for a ZZR1200
is? The one I replaced had 18 teeth, the replacement is 17 teeth.
I'm quite happy with the slightly lower gearing (not sure if I can
really notice the difference) but it would be nice to know which is
    standard.

Count yourself lucky - some dealers wouldn't notice if the engine had
    fallen out.

Exactly why I do all my own servicing.
