Seriously, are they being looked after by someone else, or are you
handling care as well? If the former, I'm almost tempted. OTOH my local
butchery type chap will sell be half a happy[1] pig for about £180....

[1] Organic, smiles a lot. You get the idea.

Now that's interesting. I shall enquire further.
Indeed. That's about what Sainsbury's et al do their cheapest pig
    products for (kidneys aside)
Which is the point. I'm looking for good pork (and by 'eck the stuff
we've had is good). To get it cheap is a bonus.

What, are you going to spray paint numbers on their hides?

I got a kitten a while ago. I named it "Cat." Another showed up soon
after. I named it "Black Cat." Seemed appropriate at the time.

  12. Neither. We just thought that an all-embracing 'Milliband' would do.

His predecessors have been Peter Mandelson, Fred Goodwin, and Moses
Mohammed (which name the pig outfit refused to put on their website).

  13. As ours aren't kept on site, as it were, but looked after by someone
else, we certainly won't get rich. But the meat is better than anything
I've ever bought at any supermarket. And the crackling crackles
    perfectly, *every* time.

We're splitting this pig with Niall Rowan and his missus. I mean, as
we've discovered, a whole pig, dismantled, takes *a lot* of freezer
    space.

And then on to the next one..... Yclept Golda Meir, I think.

  14. But I see you are already having to stop yourself getting attached to
them - comment on your facebook page.

You'll end up keeping them not eating them!

  15. Whereas four deer take up surprisingly little. Well I guess it's more
like two ana half by now.

Where do you get this done?

    Heh. I'll cope.
Not an option, they're boars so they have to go at 26 weeks.
