    No. No. No.

She should resist all temptation to move whilst trundling along the
Westway (for example) and then attempt to find a comfortable perch
*just* as you dive between two lanes of stationary traffic on the
    Maryleone Road.

    Probably.

    Oh, I know, believe me.

Mrs Dodger was once asleep from Aosta to Chamonix, which takes some
    doing.

On long trips, she wakes up only when I come to a halt. Of course, the
Wing is designed for such eventualities, but the Alpine snooze was on
    a CBRThou.

Auvache and Champ can attest to the somnolent nature of being Winged.

Some bloke took my son on the back of a bike once and now he won't even ride
    on the back with me.

I believe I'll run over the **** who took him out the first time, if I ever
    find out who it was.

It is a very different ride on the aft end of one of those. It's no
good trying to join in as there is nothing that your puny mass can do
against the combined efforts of a 'wing and a determined Dodger, so you
simply have to sit back in the nice comfy chair and go with it. It is
    really rather pleasant.

*waves at DNC* ;) and yes- on his Bandit

*waves again* although I decided 'holding on' might not be a bad idea
whilst Monz lofted one on the IOM the other year.

Probably about time this got aired again- (ginger as ginger can be)

I am just a pillion though my story's seldom told
    I have squandered my resistance
For a pocket full of mumbles, such are promises
All lies in jest, still the rider hears what he wants to hear, and
    disregards the rest
    La la la la

When I left my home and my family, was no more than a girl
In the company of a rider
With the noise of the motorcycle, sitting scared
Laying low, seeking out the grabrails, When the rider goes
Looking for the roads that only he would know

lie la lie, lie la la-lie lie la-lie, lie-la lie, lie la la-lie lie
la lie la-la la lie lie.

Asking only for a rideout I come looking for a bike, but I get no
    offers
Just a come on from the lads at Ryka's cafe
I do declare there were times when I was so hungry that
    I took some comfort there
    la la la ...

lie la lie, lie la la-lie lie la-lie, lie-la lie, lie la la-lie lie
la lie la-la la lie lie.

And I'm laying out my leathers and I'm wishing I was gone, Going out
But the London power rangers aren't making for me,
    Taking me, going out

At the roadside sits a pillion with her helmet by her side
    And she carries the reminders
Of every lad that laid her down and rode her till she cried out
In her anger and her shame, I am leaving, I am leaving,
    But the pillion still remains
    hmm hmm hmm

lie la lie, lie la la-lie lie la-lie, lie-la lie, lie la la-lie lie
la lie la-la la lie lie.

I remember taking the friend of SWMBO on the back of my bike once. Her
    first time.

She stuck her helmet to the back of mine for most of the bloody
journey. You couldn't have got a closer fit with superglue. Every time
I told her, she'd stop doing it for about 5 seconds and then do it
    again.

Bloody annoying when I wanted to turn my head to look around, it was.
