Is your work email ? Just got a bounce
message ('connection refused') from iFrance for an email I sent
    yesterday.

He said ifrance was playing silly buggers a few days ago - the format you
quote is correct for his work email.

He's MIA so perhaps ifrance have cut him off completely...

I think he's off work at the mo too so using the work one won't help.
Must suck to live in a 3rd world country.

    Don't be daft, I don't speak French.

Work one would be fine - it's the normal one I use, from home or
    wherever.

During my recent visit, Ace took a phone call from a sales droid whilst I
was rehydrating with coffee. French[1] with a northern accent is comical.

[1] I recognised a few words but couldn't be a judge of whether he was
speaking French in a fluent manner.

Define "fluent". I get by, but new subjects, for instance with cold
callers, can leave me floundering in missing vocabulary. Recent one
from a physio of som e description, which was a wrong number, I think,
he introduced himself as a "masseur kinoshterapique" I think. I had to
have him repeat it three times before I worked it out.
