Hey...how is the DZR? I am looking at those specs and the 35" seat height kind of leapt out at me. I had a R100GS years ago and it was "only" 34" or so to the ground from the perch. Knowing you and I share similar leg specs, I thought I should ask you about day to day riding on the DZR. Are you digging it? -- Jim Stinnett VTR1000 R1100RS YZF R1 http://www.moto-rama.com
Not to deliberately reply to my own post but, Dave..... Maybe the DZR wasn't such a good idea? -- Jim Stinnett VTR1000 R1100RS YZF R1 http://www.moto-rama.com
Ahhh the DRZ... Evil. Don't buy it. The bike is seriously flawed. 1) The front end is poorly designed, it refuses to stay on the ground. 2) Cornering is horrid, it keeps sliding around, and results in much hooting and hollering on the part of the rider 3) It results in high amounts of wear on your boots, as they seem to always be dragging on the ground Terrible bike, truly horrible Even worse, you tend to find other people that ride thumpers, and then you take part in rides that sound like a convention of rabid lawn mowers.... Horrid things, look away, buy a harley. (Besides, all the SF Vamps have thumpers, wouldn't want to be associated with *those* lunatics)
Were you part of the hoard I saw going down 84 yesterday? I was at Alice's having some nice crunchy bacon. Shortly after they went by, the two deputies inside having a nice quite lunch came sprinting out the front door and did the full-disco routine down 84 followed by CDF.
