  1. Knowing you used to be in the trade.
Where abouts in the South / SouthEast would you say has the biggest
    selection of lids ?
Having some trouble tracking down 64 (XXXL) sized lids where my stupid large
football shaped head doesn't make my chin hit the chinguard.

The only size 64 helmets I know of are Shoeis. I'd give Feridax a call
or find a local Shoei dealer and ask them to get one in for you to try.
No-one ever stocks the size 64, they usually have to be ordered in for
folk to try before they buy.

    The Takachi/Nitros/G-Mac/Jag/Sykos[1] aren't really a 64 and IME the
chinbars are too close to the chin on most anyway.

[1] Just a few of the "made by Nitro" brands.

AOL - I have a Takachi and a Shoei. My chin is pressed up quite hard
against the front on the Takachi (esp. at *cough* speeds), whereas on
    the Shoei it never touches.

Just bought a Shoei XR1000 at the NEC and it's a very close fit with the
autocom stuff in, very light though.

  9. Ta, I'll see if I can track down the caberg v2 as it looks like it may be a
bit longer in the chin dept.

May as well buy the Caberg a size smaller, it'll grow to fit and beyond
within a few days...Cabergs always do.

heh, the landlord of my local has a large bonce. When I tried out his
CBR1100XX a few months ago I used his lid. I've got quite a big head
but, **** me, I had room for a pillow up each side.
