    Thanks mate ;o)

Learning 'Spanish in 6 weeks' isn't really viable for me, it's going to
    be more like 6 years..

I'm doing a beginners course at night school atm, I find some things
very easy to pick up in the language, and others just fly over my head,
    don't stick at all.

Of course, the best way to learn a language is to spend time in that
    country..

Or you could come to California.

Well, I could. But my (limited) Spanish would be useless there.

Mind you, it's still sunny in CA.

  6. Just looking at my homework (yes, I recently started having classes).
Subjuntivo imperfecto, pluscuamperfecto subjuntivo y condicional
perfecto. WTFs all that about? I don't need that to order a beer!
It's particularly hard for folks like me who don't understand *english*
grammar and have certainly never studied another (particularly romance)
language. I didn't know what conjugation was until a couple of years ago.
