Oh, you should. i'd hate for people to think that I actually knew what
    I was talking about.
It would seem that _some_ members of the medical profession think
there's something in it, but it could also be that they're just raving
sadists who want their patients to feel the full effects of their
    injuries without pain relief.

UKRM did the same trial with a sample of 1. Apparently solpadol[1] works
    more efficiently than generic co-codamol.

[1] I think it was that one

Britt's consultant didn't seem to think so when she asked if taking calcium
was worthwhile. I reckon he wanted to say "Fucking AOL", but he kept his
    comments to "Absolutely worthwhile".

Yes I have heard this as well. There is surely a function of belief and
    no little stupidity.

Sorry about that. It's something of a habit I have.

    Err, no.

I was told as I had opted out of the I-MN [1] that healing would be
longer, but I hadn't quite banked on 8 months, so yours /should/ [2]
    be less than this.

    Paul.

[1] Actually, I didn't opt out, I signed the consent form for them to
do whatever was necessary when they had me spark out in the operating
    theatre.
    [2] YMMV

See the 'mild symptoms' bit up there. I have sticky ears and other
symptoms I'll spare you but I'm not throwing up as I would if I had a
    glass of milk.

You're all heart, or some bodily organ anyway.
    That was quick.
    Try not to spill it.
Now that's an underground railway request I want to see...

Physio 3 mornings a week plus exercising at home, plus forays into the
outside world. Being able to put some weight on it is bloody
    marvellous.
I am. Well as much as I ever do.
I started this a week back.

Maximum bone density is reached at around 21 apparently.
I will be when it has healed. I took it for granted.

It doesn't need to be, and usually isn't, like that. I've got a
two-inch scar where they took some chunks off the back of my pelvis to
patch my vertebrae, but it was no dig deal. Certainly no noticeable[1]
    pain and no bruising.

[1] Although that would all be relative, of course, given the state of
the rest of my body at the time.

  20. I recall being told that it was impossible for generic Brufen to affect
me differently to the real thing.
    What a load of shite.
