I want to fit my old Tiger Givi rack to the Raptor[1]. Needless to say
the mounting points are no use on the Raptor so I have to
bodg^H^Hengineer some new ones. The rack's the usual Givi style - arms
that run down the sides of the bike (with built-in grab handles, which
is handy) & a monokey plate sat on the end. The current plan is:

One bar from the silencer hanger mounts up to the front of the rack
arms (this will be nearly vertical).

Another bar from the silencer hangers up to the rear of the rack arms
(this'll be at roughly 70 degrees at a guess).

They'll be the load bearing mounts as it were, but won't stop the rack
moving rearwards & down as the mounting bars will swivel around at the
silencer end. So I'll also run a bit of flat bar from the end of the
frame rails under the seat back to the rack. They'll be virtually
horizontal, which should stop the rack moving back, & if it can't move
back it can't move down either due to the angle of the main bars.

    Does that sound about right?

[1] They don't do a Raptor rack & I may as well use the one I've got
    even if they did.
