In this months Bike you've done an article on up to 2000 quid bikes.
Nice to see my K comes out as the best sports tourer in that range

One point though it says 33mpg, is it a misprint? I've never had less
that 40 even when <cough> making progress.

It is a misprint, yes. Dunno where that figure came from. Ho hum.

Well just French autoroutes heading (late) for Calais ferries. Hold to
stop just off rev limiter for a whole tank range.

which presumably wasn't all that impressive, at that sort of mpg.
