The Melbourne Pink Ribbon ride was very well attended on Sunday. The past two
    years have been
affected by rain or forecasts of rain and attended by 100-150 bikes. Warm
weather and blue skies yesterday saw attendance exceed 350 bikes so funds
raised will have no doubt greatly exceeded organizer's expectations. How did
the rides in other cities go?

Melbournites are Pansies :) threat of rain stops you riding.

No wonder most of your bikes have low kms.

On a serious note, rained in Sydney during our ride. I would estimate there
were only about 500-600 bikes but will wait till the official figures come
out. Apart from the drizzle it was a good day.

The organisers said after the ride that there were 936 registered
riders and they raised approximately $40,000. but that wasn't final
figures. Don't know how many bikes did ride but there was a lot of
trike wheelies and fun on the way round, and wet arses on the way home

Are you trying to make a specific point or do you just have general interest
in the extent of my generosity?

I know there's a pun in there somewhere; "ride" and something to do with
male genitalia.... dammit!! I need a dirtier mind. Coney, bail me out
    here.
