Got a pair fit to the R1 this morning, gave them a good thrashing & by
    fucking hell they feel great.

    I'm getting the forks k-tech sprung, re-valved & re-oiled for £200

The rear shockers getting a bit worse for wear, so, rebuild of that & a new
    slightly stiffer spring at £160

A fair bit cheaper than any ohlins stuff, nowhere near as good, but for an
11 year old R1, i'm sure that with the tyres & all that work done, it will
feel a darn site nicer :)

I have them on the 600 and they really are good tyres, feel much better
than the Avons I used to have.

Oddly, the bike now gives the odd head shake when at full throttle on
bouncy sections[1] where it never used to. Nothing to be too concerned
    about though.

[1] Exiting the bottom of Barregarrow for example.
