Along the A29 south of Pulborough by any chance? If so there is/was a
reasonably sized meet just off the roundabout with the B2139,
consequently there's often fairly heavy policing.
Of course there's no excuse for that.
I had a similar reaction a few weeks back on the A3, at that point
three lanes after I overtook a centre lane hogging bike at probably no
more than a reasonable speed above NSL.

I did this on Sunday morning.

In mitigation, I was on the Wing, in no hurry to get anywhere in
particular, and nursing the mother and father of all hangovers.

Just as bad is the utter wanker I left in traffic a few minutes earlier
('cos he can't filter) who came screaming past on the empty straight bit of
road only to slam his fucking brakes on so I nearly rear end him. Thanks for
reminding me that an R1 can out accelerate and outbrake an old BMW ... or
did you just want me take you up the arse?

I thought she had something in the Deer Hunter, but ever since she
    boiled that rabbit... no way!

You're not wrong. She's probably that type though.

  9. Have they fixed the RX8 yet?
We got rid of ours (one of the 1st ones) at 2yrs old because the
engine management system kept trying to kill us.
If you bounced off the rev limiter, the engine would cut out about 30
seconds later. In a series of fast overtakes that's not friendly. It
also cut out when I was chasing an M3 at double the limit. Mazda had
it back 3 times, but it kept doing it.

mine doesn't do anything like that, though it's an '06 model - not one
    of the early ones.
