Sometime after the weather reaches riding consistency,
I'd like to ride over to Possum Kingdom Lake, or that
    general area.

I've never been anywhere close to that area. Maybe
we could also visit the infamous site of the Bill Walker
"Shoot Out At The OK Corral". <g>

We could also invite some of the original participants.

What was that guys name that owned the Honda Pac-
ific Coast, and later traded for an FJR?

I actually read about the PC800 upon thinking about
that owner. From the reviews I read, it seemed like a
sophisticated ride, for its time. Not necessarily soph-
isticated with regard to performance, but more so
    regarding ride-ability, storage, etc.

Here's three for sale right here in our backyard.

And here is a link inventory that will probably keep
    you busy for a while.

Strange that as I get older I begin to appreciate things
that I completely ignored when younger.

I fell off my bike on a dirt road. Did not hurt the watermelon though.

Jerry recalls some fun memories for txmo
''I fell off my bike on a dirt road. Did not hurt the watermelon
    though.''

=yes, that was a fun discussion thread a year ot two ago, of which
lasted for a week or so......thanks to you. We need more of those
    'fine'' ongoing, group participational overtones......jtk

  6. PK is a nice ride, just watch out for the deer and the "Ooh Waters".
That's a 30+ mile ride west and I wouldn't come near to calling it
that. More like a grade school yard squabble. There were no guns
here, or there that I know of, except the ones the LEOs were packing.
And maybe the neighbor, who's yard they were in. Oh wait, he had a
    tire iron. Go figure.
You could but for some of them, that's a long ride for a day's meet 'n
    greet.
    I don't recall a PC being here.

Sorry.... I didn't mean he owned the PC at
that time. Simply that he once owned a PC.

Sunny you've got to admit, that weekend, that day, was indeed quite an
entertaining day, to remember for a long time. Do you recall one of the
self invited visitors and one of the main participants, really got into
some story telling later, on txmo..LIKe:....
Old Louie owning some bar, and eventually hiding under your
    porch.....wheeeeeeheheh

  9. No problemo. I'm fairly sure that was, as Morgane Kane said, Albert
Nurick but Al was a no-show.

  10. Yeah, you weren't there but you do "remember". ;-)
You mean the bar I worked at? Har har

As for the porch, it's a "deck" and there wouldn't have been enough
room for Louie. Someone else would have had to give up their spot.

==yep I thought he was! Atleast he was to me.
When I was a rookie in this group, and using my Webby thang,
Albert was one of the few who remained cordial.
Of course i didnt give a hoot one way or the other, and 8 years
    later, I'm still hanging around.
And eventually, I became the ratings monitor....how 'bout that.

===I really believed Louie did run a bar. That's how much I was
convinced by so-in-so. And that damn Louie went right along, I mean for
months Louie had us all thinking he owned a dern Bar. When I first met
Louie in person, I asked him how his Bar was doing and stuff? Only then
did I find out the truth.hehe
Louie played right along with THEM... Later on, I thought that was so
hillarious....still gives me a good grin.
